Q Are you an established Business?
A Yes, I have been an established online trader in Floral Supplies since 2004. Having previously been a landscape gardener and approached by several of my clients for various supplies for their hobbies/crafts I started researching varieties and wholesale suppliers in the UK and around the world. I then set up my online business, selling directly from my own website which works very well.
The Aim of KJD Floral Supplies is to supply the best quality products available through an easy online transaction, alongside a friendly and efficient service, and as you will see from just a small sample of positive comments on the feedback page this is being maintained to a high standard.
Q Can I collect my order in person?
A. NO - I AM AN ONLINE TRADER ONLY - I do not deal with customers in person. I do however assure you of a very fast and efficient online service with most orders turned around within 2 working day of receipt of payment. I am always happy to answer any queries by email.
Q What if the order arrives and I am unhappy with it for some reason?
A You can always' contact me on kjd60@ymail.com to discuss the problem with you and I will always do my very best to get back to you that day, and to leave you happy with a reasonable end result.
REFUND POLICY: The customer has the right to cancel their order within seven days of placing their order or receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer). If you decide to cancel your order you will have your payment returned.

Q How long does my order take to arrive?
A I will despatch within 2 working days of receipt of your payment. Delivery time depends on the postage method chosen at the shopping cart - First Class recorded FCR - FREE (Obviously, in the current climate there is no guarantee for delivery date) or you can select either, Nextday SD Special Delivery £3 0.5 kilo or 1-1.5 kilo £6. Orders over 2kg are despatched by courier free of charge.
Q What if I need my order to arrive on a certain day because I will be out?
A We post Mondays-Thursdays but if you contact me and state a preference for a weekday you wish the order to arrive, I will do my very best to get it to you that day, however as you know, boxes can get delayed in the Royal Mail post system and there is always a chance the delivery date may be inaccurate and we can make no guarantees.
Q Am I able to guarantee a Saturday delivery ?
A Unfortunately we are no longer able to offer this service, we post on Mon,Tues,Weds and Thursdays.
Q What happens if my order is late, or does not turn up at all?
A If you have chosen First Class Recorded, because of the poor track record of this service with me, it is totally up to you to take it up with the Royal Mail, I will of course give you your tracking Number after your order has been posted. Please be aware the RM do not consider the order lost until 15 day's after the original posting date.
Q Are the pods, heads and hops free from pesticides and preservatives
A I am assured by the growers that all pods,heads and hops for sale on this website are free from pesticides & preservatives.
Q Are all the pods always perfect?
A As you know we always do our best to send the highest quality products available to us at the present time; where the dried pods are concerned there are occasions when there may be small holes in some of the pods, a crack or even an odd broken head. Please appreciate that although every effort is made to avoid this, because of the quantity of pods we are dealing with then sometimes these may get included in your order. And as we always include a few extra pods in our boxes for you we hope this wont be a problem. If you think this will be a problem for you then we can only apologise and advise you not to purchase!
Q - What are the black spots and white patches occasionally found on the pods?
A. THE BLACK SPOTS & WHITE PATCHES OCCASIONALLY FOUND ON THE SHELL OF THE PODS IS THE LATEX THAT HAS SOLIDIFIED WITHIN THE SHELL ITSELF DURING THE DRYING PROCESS, THIS IS PERFECTLY NORMAL AND IS WHAT MAKES THESE HEADS ATTRACTIVE AS WE HAVE BEEN TOLD BY MANY CUSTOMERS!
PLEASE NOTE: THE POPPY PODS ON THIS SITE ARE SOLD FOR DECORATION PURPOSES - WHEN PACKED WE TRY OUR BEST TO SEND YOU THE BEST QUALITY HEADS AVAILABLE. HOWEVER THERE MAY BE OCCASIONS WHEN THERE IS MOULD WITHIN A POD - WHICH YOU MUST UNDERSTAND IS TOTALLY OUT OF OUR CONTROL AS WE ARE UNABLE TO SEE THIS WHEN PACKING THESE ITEMS. IF IT LOOKS GOOD FROM THE OUTSIDE IT WILL BE SENT AS PART OF YOUR BOX ORDER.(IT IS IN FACT A SURE SIGN THERE HAS BEEN NO PRESERVATIVES USED.) IT IS UNLIKELY THERE WILL EVER BE MORE THAN ONE OR TWO WITH INTERNAL MOULD HAVING FORMED, AND AS WE ALWAYS INCLUDE ONE OR TWO EXTRA PODS IN EACH BOX ( each 0.5kg box contains approx 0.7kg of pods) WE HOPE THIS IS ACCEPTABLE - WE ARE ALWAYS AS HONEST AS POSSIBLE WITH THE DESCRIPTION OF OUR ITEMS AND THEREFORE WOULD SUGGEST THAT IF THIS SMALL CHANCE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE THAN PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE PODS FROM KJD FLORAL SUPPLIES, THANKYOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING.
Q How many pods, heads, hops etc are in a box 0.5 kilo ?
A This is impossible to calculate as the sizes and shapes of all the dried items available vary so much, as does the stock available.
Q Do I get a reduction for a large order?
A If you are buying more than 2 kg please email me at kjd60@ymail.com for a price.
