People have used pot pourri for centuries, why not create your own to decorate and add fragrance to your home.
It requires little time and effort and the finished product lasts for years. For a small/med bowl simply mix enough dried items
together with 3 tablespoons of the fixative plant material and add a few drops of the fragrant oil.

We have put together a starter kit which includes 40g of dried rose heads/petals, but you can add all kinds of dried material to these to enhance your arrangement; for example lotus heads, cones, poppy seed heads, cinnamon sticks, dried fruit, lavender; the list is endless.

A 10ml bottle of ‘Summer Rose’ fragrant oil is also included in the kit to compliment the rose buds, but again you can use any essential or fragrant oil of your choice; just sprinkle a couple of drops into the bowl to refresh when needed.

Pot Pourri needs to have a fixable material to soak up and hold the essential oils,
sometimes tree bark is used but more often dried plant material such as Orris root; in this case we have provided dried ‘Hen and Chicken’ poppy stems (as always, free from pesticides and preservatives) The 0.5kg of H&C dried plant fixative supplied in the kit is approx half a 8x8x8 box full, and as you can imagine this is enough to make many large bowls of Pot Pourri for around your home.

The kit will be sent in the standard 8x8x8 cube boxes used for many other items sold by KJD Floral Supplies,
 with the bag of Rose Buds/petals together with the 10ml bottle of oil being contained completely separately from the fixable mix
and found in the jiffy bag to the top of the box.
